4th of July celebrations in Northern Maine and beyond!

Houlton, Limestone & Stockholm have events all day. Bangor & Portland put on an amazing Independence Day party + the Maine Potato Blossom Festival is later in July.

The Houlton Agricultural Fair:  This is a humongous fireworks display starting just after 9 pm. It’s the last day to take in the excitement of the midway, exhibits, events, animals, food, family & friends.

Limestone FireworksThe fireworks go off around 9 pm over the pond in downtown Limestone. The parade starts at 2:00 pm with 2018’s theme “Limestone Pride – Flying High.” There’s fun all day with family & friends. Enjoy the food, contests, games, dancing, music + more.

Stockholm Display: Watch the fireworks taking off from the American Legion around dusk. Strawberry shortcake, root beer floats, food, parade and fun.

Bangor on The 4th: The fireworks launch at dusk. The parade starts at 11 am on Winslow Street in Brewer, and ends up in downtown Bangor. Make sure you go to the free Chords for the Cure concert on the waterfront.

Stars and Stripes Spectacular: The fireworks go off at just after dark. It’s worth the trip to the coast of Maine for the 4th! The Eastern Prom in Portland gives you an incredible view of Casco Bay.

Maine Potato Blossom Festival: The annual festival runs from July 14th – July 22nd.  The fireworks are launched over the Aroostook River in Fort Fairfield.
