Check out Zach's Run on Saturday, September 12 at 9:00 a.m. at the Presque Isle Middle School.

In 2013, Zachary Gagnon was a 10-year-old boy from Caribou, who had been diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Finishing his final chemo treatments in July 2014, a clean bill of health prevailed.

However, at Zach's last check up appointment in July 2015, they discovered a mass on his lung. PET Scans and bone marrow tests followed. Sadly, it has been determined that Zach has cancer, for the second time. Zach’s Run is a fundraiser for Zachary and his family to assist with medical bills and travel while he receives treatment.

Zach is described by his Mom as “very perceptive, smart, caring, thoughtful, helpful, considerate, sensitive to others, insightful, lovable, and the best little boy a mother could ever have!”

Zach's Run is a 5K Run and Walk, fully supported with water stations and volunteers.

Entry is a suggested fee of $20, and donations are welcome. Please come and show your support for Zachary!
