Getting Started in June

Rick Guerrette said they are looking forward to getting things started even before Summer officially starts. “We’ll get going again in early June. It will be just me and Sandy”

Easy Access to Weekday Location

Bite This will set up on the weekdays at a familiar location. “We’ll be at the Cavendish parking lot across from the Mall, right at the end of the bridge. We’ve been there for a couple of years. It’s a great spot for us. It has good parking and it’s easy to turn around if you have a big truck or something like that.”

Bite This at Area Events

Rick and Sandy have been running Bite This for the last six years. You’ve seen them at many events around the area. This year, they want to do some of the same things. “We’ll do the music on Maine Street for the Balloon Fest and Rockin’ on Riverside. We’ve done the Amish auction in Easton a few times.”

Serving Food at Wedding Rehearsals

They also can do wedding rehearsal suppers. ” We have a few rehearsal suppers scheduled. All the guests can order whatever they want. We keep track of the slips and at the end of the night, we add the slips up and  just give them the bill,” said Rick. “It works out good for the mom and dad who are paying for the deal. They don’t have to worry about the food and cleaning up the mess.”

Food People Love

Bite This is bringing back the things people love and also trying some new stuff. “We’re going to try to do some new things this summer to try and stretch out people’s money. Hamburgers and hot dogs and all that stuff are getting to be expensive. So maybe we’ll do more like meatball grinders where we can do it a little cheaper. Maybe chop suey or pulled pork or something like that. You can sell it more affordably. We’re going to try some stuff like that.”

Looking Forward to a Great Summer

Just like all of us who can't wait for summer, Rick and Sandy are excited about the season. “We’re looking forward to a good summer and hopefully gas and food prices will stay in line so people can afford to eat out. We enjoy doing it and hopefully we can still do it.”
