Woman Arrested after Police Chase & Charged with OUI in Maine
A 62-year-old woman was arrested Friday night and charged with Operating Under the Influence after a police chase and crash in Rockland.
OUI and Driving to Endanger Charges
Laurie Hunt was taken into custody around 9 pm on Old County Road. She was charged with her second OUI, Failure to Stop for Law Enforcement, Driving to Endanger and multiple traffic violations.
Almost Hit Police Cruiser
The Rockland Police Department said Hunt showed “complete disregard for the others on the road” during the slow speed pursuit. She almost hit a responding cruiser and did not stop at traffic lights.
Crashed into car and Arrested
Hunt had a minor accident with an unoccupied car. Her vehicle stopped and she was taken into custody.
