
Winterport Contestant Sings Her Way Into Central Maine Idol Top 3!
Small town, big voice! A Winterport woman lands a spot in the Top 3 of Central Maine Idol!

One of Maine's best singers could win a cool $10,000!
In June 0f 2023, Julia Gagnon won Central Maine Idol, then began her incredible journey to American Idol, where she rocketed into the Top 7. So dreams can come true, if you have the talent!
During her American Idol run, the Quarry Tap Room held several viewing parties to cheer her on.
This year, the field has been narrowed down to just 3 contestants, after the general auditions, including a fantastic singer from Winterport.
Jennifer Nittolo, has been a singer in local bands for years, including Octavia, which has played at several different spots in the Bangor area and beyond.
Throughout the last several weeks, she has delivered one knockout performance after another, displaying a talent for several different genres of music, during Central Maine Idol's various theme nights, including 70's night, 80's night, 90's night, country, and more!
Check out this video of her crushing a cover of "Barracuda" at Fort Knox, from a few years back. She has a powerful voice, and could go a long way in the competition.
Three outstanding vocalists will return to the stage for one final performance, singing three songs each, on Friday, July 18th, at The Quarry Tap Room in Hallowell, Maine. Doors open at 5:00pm.
The Finale begins at 6:00pm.
