Wintergreen to Host Second Annual Kids’ Art & Craft Fair

Young, local artists and crafters are being featured for the second year in a row at the  Kids’ (Only) Art & Craft Fair at the Wintergreen Arts Center.

This unique art & craft fair will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Only young vendors will be peddling their wares including artwork, handmade magnets, pet products and more.

There's no charge to attend and everybody is welcome.

Melanie Cyr, Wintergreen’s private party and event planner, says this event is a great learning experience and confidence builder for the little artists and craftspeople. “They have a goal to work toward and a deadline to make.” She adds, it also gives the budding artists and crafters the chance to work with money and make change.

Vendors must be younger than, or, 18-years-old, and bring their own table, with a maximum of 6 feet. The cost is $20 and each vendor needs to find a sponsor, whether it be a parent, relative, business, or friend, and fill out a contract. Home-baked food items for sale are not allowed.
