Wells joined the organization in April 2015, serving as its Director of Advancement. In August she was named Interim Executive Director.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Southern Maine, she went on to earn graduate certification in arts administration from Boston University.

She is dedicated to helping the region’s youth get an education that will allow them to work and build their lives here. Wells looks forward to working with Aroostook County students to create future leaders.

“I love working with an organization so committed to the prosperity of Aroostook County and the potential of our students as our future leaders in community and industry. I hope to continue the work and the vision that Ray and Sandy Gauvin have established through their philanthropy and leadership, so that Aroostook County is rich with opportunity for our youth,” said Wells.

Aroostook Aspirations Initiative is located at 754 Main Street, Presque Isle. To contribute to the program, donations can be made at www.gauvinfund.org or mailed to: 26 North Street, Box 138, Presque Isle, ME 04769. For more information, call (207) 760-0558.
