Two Teens Charged in Connection with Houlton Murder Case

Two teens from Southern Aroostook County were arrested Friday afternoon and charged with murder in connection with the death of a 61-year-old Houlton man at his home last weekend. 

State Police say 18-year-old Reginald Dobbins and a 16-year-old, both from Houlton, were arrested. The two are charged with killing Keith Suitter, who was found dead inside his mobile home on Hillview Avenue last Sunday evening. The name of the 16-year-old is not being released because he is a minor.

Detectives worked through the week investigating the death, include searches of Suitter's home, his Ford F-150 pickup truck that was found in a snowbank, and two other houses in Houlton.

Police say no further details are being released at the time being on the cause of death or the investigation that lead to the two teenagers, but additional information may be included in court paperwork that will be filed on Monday.

The teens and were taken to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton. They will make their first court appearance Monday in Aroostook County Superior Court in Houlton.
