Two People Trapped in Car after Crash into Utility Pole in Maine
Two people were injured and trapped in their vehicle Monday morning after a single-vehicle crash in Alton.
Driver did not have License
The driver did not have a license. Police said driver inexperience and speed are believed to be factors in the crash. Names and ages were not released.
Car hit Mailboxes, Tree and Utility Pole
The incident happened around 9 am on Bennoch Road. The driver lost control of the vehicle, drove off the road, hit two mailboxes, a tree and a utility pole, said WABI News.
Extricated from Vehicle and Taken to the Hospital
The driver and passenger were extricated from the car and both were taken to the hospital.
