Truck Driver Fell Asleep at the Wheel and Rolled Over in Maine
A 42-year-old box truck driver was seriously injured in a rollover crash Friday after falling asleep at the wheel, hitting a tree and rolling over in Sidney.

Ashley Peters from Ellsworth was taken to Maine General Hospital in Augusta with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The Maine State Police said they received reports of a box truck driving erratically on I-95 around 3 pm.

Troopers were on their way to intercept the vehicle when the truck crashed, said WABI News.

Peters was not wearing a seatbelt. The investigation is ongoing.
