Help Make-A-Wish Maine Grant Wishes By Donating to the Trailblaze Challenge
The 7th Annual Trailblaze Challenge happens September 19 to 21. It's a 23.4-mile hike through the scenic trails of western Maine, all to support Make-A-Wish Maine in its efforts to grant wishes to children with illnesses.
The Trailblaze Challenge
The Trailblaze Challenge isn’t just a hike. It’s a powerful way to help grant life-changing
wishes for children with critical illnesses across Maine. It’s a chance to push physical limits, connect with a passionate, supportive community, and make a lasting difference in a child's life.
A Personal Story
Watch the above video to hear from my girlfriend, Michele, who has completed the full 23.4 miles year after year. This will be her seventh year in a row. Her dedication to raising funds and awareness is truly inspiring. I have no idea how she does it, but seeing her cross that finish line is nothing short of amazing.

Trailblaze Challenge is meant for them.
Over 80 Hikers and Counting
Every year, Make-A-Wish Maine grants 80 wishes for Maine kids, with the average cost of a wish being around $8500. The Trailblaze Challenge continuously raises $250,000 annually to make wishes come true. It's a daunting task, but every year they grant all those wishes, putting smiles on kids' faces when they learn their wish has come true.
You can still donate online, and if you'd like to help Michele get to her goal of $5000, there's a link directly to her fundraising page. Any donation you can make is appreciated and gets her one step closer to her goal.
