30 Days of Night: Set in Alaska, this movie has plenty of scenes with blood splattered on crisp white snow, a pretty gory sight in and of itself. But when the vampires never even bother to wipe their mouths after a feed, you’ve got blood everywhere.

Nightmare on Elm Street: This is definitely Freddy Kreuger’s bloodiest film, what with him dragging the helpless Tina up the walls and drenching her in blood as his invisible claws slice her open.

Hellbound: Hellraiser II: Most of the main characters in this movie have no skin, so this one was a no-brainer. When you add in the Cenobites ripping people apart, you’ve got one that had to go on our list.

Evil Dead 2: We’re not just talking red human blood with this one. Nope, there’s also green alien blood. And lots of it.

Saw IV: This thriller includes terrifying limb-ripping traps, peeled-off scalps, and even heads crushed with ice picks. After three movies you’d think the filmmakers would be out of gory ideas. But they definitely weren’t.

House of 1,000 Corpses: Directed by Rob Zombie, full of cannibalism and torture, and---oh yeah, one thousand corpses in the title. This film has enough blood to fill the coffins for those 1,000 dead bodies.
