Three-Year-Old Boy Shot in Hand and Injured in Maine
A 3-year-old boy was injured Tuesday afternoon after he was shot in the hand in Sanford.
Three-Year-Old Shot in the Left Hand
The Sanford Police Department said the boy was with his father when police arrived at 13 Shaw Road around 4:28 pm.
Pistol Recovered
Officers recovered a pistol in the house.
Transported to Hospital with Injuries
The child was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland for his injuries, said WGME News.
Investigation Remains Open
The investigation is ongoing and police said there is no threat to the public.
