The Body of a 26-Year-Old Man was Found in a Ditch in Maine

The body of a 26-year-old man was found in a ditch Friday in Berwick after his family reported him missing.

Body Found in Ditch

The Berwick Police Department said Kyle Long from Rochester, NH was found “dead on the side of the road, face down in a ditch” around 11:45 pm.

Man Reported Missing

Long was missing since Thursday after walking in the area of Jordan Street towards Rochester around 10 pm.

Vehicle Possibly Involved Impounded

Police “obtained information about a motor vehicle possibly involved in this incident.” Officers located the vehicle in Rochester and impounded it.

Manner and Cause of Death

Long’s body was taken to the Maine Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to determine the manner and cause of death.
