Man’s Body Recovered at Base of Cliff in Maine
The body of a man was recovered at the base of Maiden Cliff in Camden Hills State Park.
Body Recovered at Bottom of Cliff
Maine Wardens said the man was in his mid-40’s from North Carolina. His name was not released.
Backpack Found
First responders found his backpack near the top of the cliff on Saturday.
Four Hours to Recover Body
It took four hours to recover his body at the bottom of the cliff, said Penbay Pilot news.
Reported Missing
The man’s wife had reported him missing Saturday and contacted officials after not hearing from him.
Ongoing Investigation
The investigation is ongoing. Authorities said the death is not considered suspicious.
