On Tuesday, August 19, 2014, the Brunswick, Maine Town Council Chairperson released the names of the two finalists for their vacant Town Manager job. Among those on the list was Presque Isle’s City Manager Jim Bennett.

Thursday, April 24 is national Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day and Governor Paul LePage is encouraging Mainers to participate by taking young people, between the ages of 9 and 15, to their workplace for at least part of the day.
Here's a great way to end the week. Let's get everyone talking about the fact that they hate their current job and were destined to be doing something else. On top of that, it's freezing cold here close to the 'Great White North.' Real good idea. All kidding aside, most people had other plans for their lives and were not afraid to share.
