The air is buzzing with excitement as the Boston Pops prepare to spread some holiday cheer this December. You won't want to miss this festive evening!

Ever wonder what rock bands played in Maine the most over the years? Although not confirmed, these 14 bands have shown our state plenty of love over the years, with a couple playing here close to 50 times. Excluding our talented local acts, here’s a rundown of the bands that I found to have played the most shows in the state and I’m pretty confident that we have two clear winners:

Aerosmith fans, listen up. Although the band isn't touring anymore because of Steven Tyler's vocal injury, Joe Perry is hitting the road with the Joe Perry Project that will also feature Brad Whitford and Buck Johnson of Aerosmith, Chris Robinson of the Black Crows, Robert DeLeo and Eric Kretz of Stone Temple Pilots.

The 2025 season is going to be something for everyone.
