I did a poll earlier about the 'Best Classic Rock Blues Covers.' I included 5 or 6 songs only because I didn't have room to put them all because there are so many. My apologies if I missed some. Here are a few songs that garnered the most votes on the show today, separate from the online poll.
The legendary blues artist Muddy Waters had a famous song that summed it up pretty nicely. 'The Blues Had a Baby and They Called it Rock and Roll.' The seeds of rock and roll were planted in the cotton fields and the legendary blues artists were the Moms and Dads. There are a lot of classic rock songs out that are remakes or re-inventions of classic blues tunes.
