Several people were injured Wednesday after a three-car crash in Westbrook.
Windshield Iced Over
The Westbrook Police Department said the crash was caused by “a driver failing to defrost their front windshield before driving.”
Chain Reaction Crash
The driver collided with a vehicle waiting at a red light on Cumberland Street. A chain reaction caused that vehicle to hit a car in front of it.
People Injured
“The crash happened because the driver could not see the traffic that was stopped in front of them because of the windshield being iced over,” said Westbrook PD. Minor serious injuries were reported.
Charges
The driver faces charges for Driving to Endanger.
