A 27-year-old man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for murdering a man and dumping his body in Maine.
Sentenced to 30 Years with All but 10 Years Suspended
Luke Krott was sentenced to 30 years with all but 10 years suspended. He will also have four years of probation and supervised release.
Murder Charges Following Homicide in Maine
He was charged with the murder of 34-year-old William “Nate” Robinson from Austinville, Virginia in December 2024.
Body Recovered from a Trash Barrel
Police found Robinson’s body dumped in a trash barrel in Edgecomb, according to WGME News.
Victim Died from a Gunshot Wound after He was Shot
Investigators said Robinson was shot and killed and died from a gunshot wound.

Police Found Evidence That Connected Man to Murder in Maine
Evidence found in Turner, Maine connected Krott to the murder, said police.

Krott was located on a sailboat at the marina in San Diego in January 2025.
