RCMP Arrest North Tay Man Accused of Shooting Vehicles

RCMP is investigating an incident in which shots were fired at two vehicles in North Tay, N.B. near Stanley early Tuesday.

Shortly after midnight, the Keswick RCMP received a call of shots fired on North Tay Road.

The initial investigation shows that after an altercation between a man and two other individuals, the man shot a firearm at two vehicles located near a residence. No one was in the vehicles at the time of the incident and no one was injured.

Around 8:30 a.m., a 48-year-old man from North Tay was located and arrested in Blackville by RCMP members without incident.

The man remains in custody and charges are pending. The investigation is continuing.
