Maine State Police responded to a tractor-trailer crash early Friday morning on Interstate 95 in Island Falls.

Troopers say 37-year-old Geary Bonville of Presque Isle was traveling north in his 1986 Peterbilt truck and trailer around 4:45 a.m. Bonville lost control of the rig, struck several sections of guardrail and then went off the highway into a stand of trees. He was not injured in the crash, according to Lt. Brian Harris.

The tractor-trailer sustained significant damage and was towed away by Westerdahl's Towing of Littleton.
