Woman Arrested in Mars Hill Drug Bust [UPDATE]

A Mars Hill woman is in jail after being charged with drug trafficking.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency. Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security executed a search warrant at a home on Benjamin Street in Mars Hill on Friday. Police arrested 44-year old Leda Giggey for trafficking in Schedule W drugs, a Class B felony.

Schedule W drugs include more dangerous drugs, such as cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and oxycodone.

Giggey was transported to the Aroostook County Jail where she is being held on $15,000 bail.
