Four Men Arrested for Unlawful Drug Trafficking in Caswell, Maine
Four men were arrested in Caswell Tuesday and charged with Unlawful Drug Trafficking after a narcotics investigation.
Four Men Charged with Drug Trafficking in Aroostook County
The four men arrested were 47-year-old Andrew McHatten from Caswell, Maine, 27-year-old Whilo Recio from Mattapan, Massachusetts, 28-year-old Ramon Recio from Boston and 35-year-old Diomedes Del Rosario Cotreras from the Dominican Republic.
Search Warrant Executed
MDEA’s Aroostook District Task Force, the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Border Patrol Agents executed a search warrant at 1057 Van Buren Road Tuesday morning.
Over 2 lbs. of Fentanyl and 1 lb. of Meth Seized
“Agents seized over 2 pounds of fentanyl, over a pound of methamphetamine and over $19,000 in suspected drug proceeds. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is over $200,000,” said Commander Brandon Vafiades.
$15,000 Cash Bail
All four men were transported to the Aroostook County Jail. Bail was set at $15,000 cash each.
