Police Investigate New Limerick Crash

A woman is lucky to have not been injured after a car crash in New Limerick on Sunday.

According to the Aroostook County Sheriff's Office, Deputies investigated a crash on Route 2 in New Limerick on Sunday.

Police say the driver apparently reached onto the floorboard for her purse and struck a guardrail.

Neither occupant of the vehicle was injured, but the car sustained serious damage.

Houlton Fire and Houlton Ambulance also responded to the scene.
