A 64-year-old woman died Saturday night after being hit by a car in New Gloucester.
Pedestrian Died after Being Hit by Vehicle
Stacy Strattard from Gray was crossing Lewiston Road around 8:40 pm when she was struck by the vehicle.
Impairment Does Not Seem to Be Factor
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said driving impairment does not seem to be a factor. The driver’s name and age were not released.
Ongoing Investigation
Deputies and the New Gloucester Fire Department responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
