One man was seriously injured Sunday morning and another man was arrested after a crash on the Maine Turnpike in Falmouth.

Critical Condition

A 61-year-old man, Patrick Blair from Lewiston, was in critical condition after the collision around 2:38 am. He was transported to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.

Driver Fled on Foot

The Maine State Police said a 30-year-old man, Joshua Uwimana from Lewiston, fled on foot from the scene of the crash.

Tracked by K9

He was tracked by K9 and located a mile away on the shoulder of the Turnpike.

Signs of Intoxication

Police said “Uwimana showed signs of intoxication and was arrested.”
