Not Much Change in Gas Prices Again This Week
Once again, gas prices in northern New England are remaining relatively steady.
According to the latest survey by GasBuddy.com, gas prices here in Maine fell a penny over the last week to an average price of $2.85 a gallon. In Presque Isle Monday morning, most gas outlets were showing a price of $2.95 a gallon.
New Hampshire's pump prices declined slightly over the past week to an average $2.80 a gallon while gas prices in Vermont rose slightly to $2.89 a gallon.
The national average fell 3.6 cents in the last month to $2.85 a gallon. That's 50.3 cents higher than where it was one year ago.
