A 47-year-old man died Sunday and another man was seriously injured after two motorcycles collided in Jay.

Two Motorcycles Were Travelling Together When They Crashed

The Jay Police Department said the two motorcycles were traveling together on Route 4.

Motorcycles Lost Control After Hitting Each Other

The motorcycles hit each other, lost control and crashed near Raymond Way around 5:20 pm.

Man Died at the Scene of the Crash

Benjamin St. Pierre died and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Second Motorcyclist was Seriously Injured and Taken to the Hospital

The second man, 44-year-old Charles Meisner, was seriously injured and transported to the hospital for medical attention.

Active and Ongoing Crash Investigation

The circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
