More Bitterly Cold Temperatures to Affect Northern Maine & Western New Brunswick for January 7 & 8
Mother Nature is really starting to tighten her grip on Northern Maine and Western New Brunswick, as the deep freeze sets in.
The National Weather Service Office in Caribou and Environment Canada have issued Wind Chill Warnings for Wednesday evening in to Thursday, as temperatures are expected to get bitterly cold.
Temperatures are expected to be -15 to -25 with wind chills as low at 45 Below Zero.
Exposure to these extreme conditions could cause frost bite and hypothermia.
Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia.
