Man & Woman Seriously Injured after Motorcycle Crash in Maine
A man and a woman were seriously injured Saturday after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle in a multi-vehicle crash on Turner Road in Auburn.
Two People Seriously Injured after Motorcycle and Car Collide
The Auburn Police Department said 62-year-old Ronald Hill from Oxford and 67-year-old Phyllis Shehan from South Paris were riding south on a Harley Davison motorcycle around 1:15 pm.
Motorcycle Made “Abrupt Lane Change” to Avoid Car
“Hill made an abrupt lane change to avoid an unidentified vehicle that had pulled out in front of him,” said Police.
Motorcycle and Car Collided
The motorcycle then collided with a 2019 Honda CRV driven by 32-year-old Elizebeth Nicolazzo from Auburn. She was uninjured.
Two People on Harley Injured
Hill and Shehan were thrown from the motorcycle. They both were seriously injured.
Motorcycle Hit Another Vehicle
The motorcycle then crossed the centerline without them and hit a 2022 Honda CRV driven by 79-year-old Jayne LePage from Turner. She was not injured.
Road was Closed
The area of 2382 Turner Road was closed and traffic was detoured. The road opened again around 5:15 pm. The crash is under investigation.
