Man Dies in Rollover Crash near Pennfield, N.B.
West District RCMP are investigating a single-vehicle crash Thursday in the Pennfield area that claimed the life of a 54-year-old man.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., police and emergency personnel responded to a crash on Route 1 in Pocologan, N.B. Police say a pickup truck travelling in the westbound lane went off the road and rolled-over. The vehicle came to rest in the median.
Corporal Dan Smith said the victim and lone occupant of the truck, a 54-year-old man from Crocker Hill, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
