35-Year-Old Man Died after Vehicle Hit Tree in Maine

A 35-year-old man died Tuesday night after a rollover crash in Friendship.

Man Died at the Scene of the Crash

Joshua Barshinger from Dixmont was pronounced dead at the scene.

Vehicle Lost Crossed the Center Line, Left the Roadway and Collided with a Tree

The Knox County Sheriff's Office said he lost control of his Nissan Sentra, went off the road, struck a tree and rolled over.

Crash Happened at Night

The crash happened around 10:35 pm on Colonel Stairs Road.

Deputies believe speed and unfamiliarity with the road are factors in the crash.
