Man Died from Critical Injuries after Crash in Maine
A 73-year-old man died Saturday evening after crashing into a tree on Beans Mill Road in Corinth.
“Thrown to the Passenger Side”
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said Richard Smith from Exeter “was thrown to the passenger side of the vehicle” after colliding with the tree around 4:25 pm.
Farm Truck Left the Roadway
He was driving alone in a farm truck when he went off the road.
Medical Event and Head Trauma
‘Mr. Smith may have suffered a medical event and then received head trauma from the crash,” said the Sheriff’s Office.
