Incredible Kindness Displayed at Annual Maine Veteran Event
The Brassletts, owners of Home Roofing Solutions, are pillars in the community for taking care of our Veterans. Last week, they hosted their 4th annual Roofs for Troops luncheon ... and something magical, yet not surprising happened.
From WABI:
“We hosted the 4th Annual Roofs for Troops Luncheon. That is an event we put on from Home Roofing Solutions. All of our past customers that are military status are invited to this event, and the previous years’ worth of customers are entered into one big drawing for a $10,000 pay back on their roofing project with us,” said CEO and Co-owner of Home Roofing Solutions and Marino Project Founder, Jodi Brasslett.
As reported on WABI, the winner of the $10,000 reimbursement only took home half of the payout, giving $1,000 each to five more people that were then picked from the raffle.
Are we surprised that one of Maine's Veterans wanted to pay the kindness forward?
