The court is hearing arguments in three appeals Thursday at the University of Maine Fort Kent. Students will be attending from several area high schools including Fort Kent, Fort Fairfield, Van Buren, Madawaska, Caribou and St. Agatha.

Next month, the court travels to South Berwick.

Chief Justice Leigh Saufley said she's grateful for the opportunity to expose students to real appellate cases to give them a window on the state's legal system. Since 2005, the court has visited 32 schools around the state and has heard over 90 appeals.
