Here’s Where You Can See This Iconic Maine Story On The Big Screen
Not only will folks be turning their clocks back this weekend, but many are also making plans to see the cinematic debut of a classic Maine tale on the big screen.
The movie adaptation of 'Lost On A Mountain In Maine,' the story of 12-year-old Donn Fendler's harrowing adventure of surviving 11 days lost in the woods surrounding Mt. Katahdin, has been many years in the making. In August of 2022, word spread that the movie was being produced and in the filming process.

2 years later, it's ready to be seen by the masses. It was previewed by a small audience at the Waterville Opera House this past summer and this weekend marks the movie's opening weekend for all audiences.

Starting Friday, November 1st, audiences will be able to see, in all its glory, how the story actually unfolded.
In Bangor, you can catch 'Lost On A Mountain In Maine' at Bangor Mall Cinema 10 on Stillwater Avenue.
Black Bear Cinemas on Stillwater Avenue in Orono will also be showing the flick.
The Alamo Theater in Bucksport will have a special evening showing at 6 PM.
The Grand in Ellsworth is doing the same, with a show time of 7 PM.
If you feel like taking a bit of a road trip, there are also theaters in Dover-Foxcroft, Skowhegan, and Waterville that will be showing the movie starting Friday, as well.
