Former Hodgdon Man Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charges
A 37-year-old man, formerly of Hodgdon, Maine, pleaded guilty Friday in U.S. District Court in Bangor to possessing child pornography.
Court records show that between about June 2009 and September 2015, Anthonio Dicentes possessed image files depicting child pornography, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Richard W. Murphy. At least one of these files, which Dicentes had sought out and downloaded from the internet, depicted a child under the age of 12.
Dicentes, recently of Florida, faces up to 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and between five years and a lifetime of supervised release. He will be sentenced after the completion of a pre-sentence investigation report by the U.S. Probation Office.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Maine State Police.
