The first day of Fall is finally here and there are places in the County that will soon be calling your name. Here are some of our favorite Fall activities in the Northeast.

    Corn Maze Fun

    Thanks to one author from Maine, running through corn mazes with children might be a little creepy. However, walking through corn mazes are a really fun way to enjoy the Fall. One of the County's favorites is Goughan's Corn Maze. You can enjoy some homemade ice cream when you're done.

    Pumpkin Pickin'

    Ain't nuthin' like takin' the family out to the ole pumpkin patch for some good, old-fashioned pumpkin pickin'. A few places to do that in the County is Treeland Farms and Goughan's Berry Farm.

    Leaf Peeping

    The leaves are already beginning to turn here in the County and it won't be too long before you load up the family truckster and head out to places like Haystack Mountain or the Aroostook State Park.

    Hayrides

    Fall and hayrides go hand-in-hand like warm, homemade cookies and pumpkin spice. No doubt, you'll see horses pulling people on a trailer with hay bales soon, if you haven't already. Maple Meadow Farms in Mapleton, Maine seems to be a favorite.
