Edmundston Men Face Charges After Meth Bust

Two men were arrested on drug charges after the Edmundston Police Force conducted a search at a residence on Canada Road in Edmundston.

During the search on Friday, Edmundston Police said they seized methamphetamine tablets, marijuana, Canadian currency, as well as drug paraphernalia.

A 27-year-old Edmundston man will face a charge of possession of methamphetamine, according to a press release Wednesday from the Edmundston Police Force. A 55-year-old man, also from Edmundston will face charges of trafficking in methamphetamine and marijuana.

The two men were released on conditions and will have to appear in Edmundston Provincial Court on February 23, 2016.
