A 39-year-old man was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for drug trafficking in Maine.

18 Months for Drug Trafficking

Alvin Dorsey was given 18 months with three years supervised release. He pleaded guilty on January 24, 2025.

Confidential Informant

An undercover buy was arranged by a confidential source working with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

Drug Sale

Dorsey delivered two “sticks” of fentanyl, about 20 grams, to Biddeford and made the deal with the informant.

Grand Jury and Prosecution

A grand jury charged him with distributing fentanyl and he was prosecuted.

Drug Investigators

The case was investigated by the DEA, the Massachusetts State Police Airport Group, and the Biddeford Police Department.
