The Doaktown RCMP are looking for information about a break, enter and theft at a home in McGivney, New Brunswick on Highway 8 on November 17, 2021. Officials are now releasing photos to help identify the person of interest in the theft.

Break, Theft and Enter

Police said the crime took place in the early morning hours between 2:35 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. at a “seasonal mini-home” on November 17, 2021. Several items were stolen after someone "forcefully gained entrance” through a window. Police said no one was home at the time.

The Doaktown RCMP is asking the public to look at the photos and see if you recognize the individual or the vehicle to help with the investigation.

Description

The person of interest is described as a tall man standing between five feet seven inches (170 centimeters) and five feet nine inches (175 centimeters) with a slender build. The vehicle is a white sedan with four doors.

Items Taken

Several items were taken from the home. Here’s a list of some of the things stolen:

  • a 32-inch television
  • an A12 MP3 trail camera
  • Dunlop rubber boots, size 7
  • a Panasonic 5-disc changer
