Chris O’Brien – ‘Yet Another Rainy Day in the County’ [VIDEO]

Maybe it’s just me but this summer seems to have been a wash, literally.  We’ve had a few beautiful days but it’s been wetter than usual.  I’m not complaining because our weather situation could be a lot worse.  Plus, I tend to enjoy rainy days sometimes. 

For me it’s mostly about relaxation.  If I happen to be at home with nothing to do (which almost never happens) and it’s raining, my favorite thing to do is to drink a cup of hot tea, curl up on the couch with a blanket and watch an old movie; by old movie I mean really old, like ‘classic,’ something black and white probably.  I’m a Cary Grant nut. 

That probably makes me sound pretty old and dull, but if you knew how fast my life moves and how busy things can get, you’ll understand.  If I can’t watch a movie I like to nap.  Luckily I still have a young child who needs a nap and Dad is more than willing use him as an excuse to cuddle up for an afternoon snooze. I think napping should be a regular work day requirement.  Just sayin’!
