Car Crashes Into MSAD 1 School Bus in Presque Isle

There were a few tense moments for children on their way to school in Presque Isle on Wednesday morning, after a car crashed in to the back of a school bus.

The SAD 1 school bus was traveling on Academy Street in Presque Isle at around 7:40 a.m. when the accident happened. The car apparently struck the bus and became lodged underneath its back bumper.

The Presque Isle Police Department responded to the scene of the accident, as did another school bus to transport the children to school. No one was injured.

The crash is blamed on driver inattention.
