Body of Missing 83-Year-Old Man Recovered after Search in Maine
The body of a missing 83-year-old man was found Friday night in Cushing.
Body Recovered on Shore
Donald McBeth’s body was recovered on the shore near Gaunt Neck Road around 8 pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Missing Man did not Show Up for Family Function
McBeth was reported missing at 7 pm after he did not show up at a family event. He was from Vero Beach, Florida and a seasonal resident of Cushing, said WGME News.
Search and Recovery
The search was conducted by Marine Patrol, the Knox County Sheriff's Office and the Maine Warden Service.
Investigation Remains Open
The investigation into his death is ongoing. His body was transported to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner.
