Two people from Houlton were indicted for trafficking in heroin as the Aroostook County Grand Jury completed its fourth session of 2018.

The MDEA along with Houlton Police and the Sheriff's Office arrested 31-year-old Matthew A. Perry and 19-year-old Makayla McGuire in January following a drug search of an apartment on Court Street in Houlton. Agents seized heroin and methamphetamine with an estimated street value of about $10,000.
