61-Year-Old Man Critically Injured after Crash in Maine
A 61-year-old man was critically injured Friday after he was hit by an SUV on India Street in Portland.
Man with Life-Threatening Injuries after Crash
The Portland Police Department said a 69-year-old woman from Falmouth was driving the SUV and hit the man around 12:20 pm.
Vehicle was Turning
“The SUV had stopped at Fore and India Streets, when the driver proceeded to make a left turn onto India Street,” said Portland PD.
Transported to Hospital in Critical Condition
The man had life-threatening injuries and was taken to Maine Medical Center in critical condition.
Investigation and Charges
Police said no charges have been filed at this time. The Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
