2017 A Good Year for Grant Awards for Pines Health
In 2017 Pines Health Services received grant awards in excess of $78,000 for their quality performance from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
"Pines is honored to receive national recognition for the hard work our teams have done on meeting multiple clinical and quality measures. We are very proud to announce that Pines has received the quality improvement funding for the fourth year in a row. In the Health Center Quality Leader category, Pines Health Services was 1 of 9 organizations in the state of Maine that achieved best overall clinical performance among all heath centers" said Lisa Caron, COO of Pines Health Services.
"This is the result of leadership and the high-performance team that Pines has assembled over the years who simply won't settle for anything but the best," said Kris Doody, RN, CEO of Pines Health Services & Cary Medical Center. “To be considered for this prestigious award HRSA looks at four major categories; Need, Services, Management and Finance, and Governance. Whereas Pines Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) we rely heavily on these grants to continue to deliver the best health care services to our patients. “
Pines Health Services is an independent, non-profit, community-based multi-specialty physician practice serving the residents of northern and central Aroostook County. The grant is supported by The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S Department of Health and Human Services.
