Woman with 9 Warrants Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 35-year-old woman with nine warrants was arrested for drug trafficking Tuesday in Portland.
Woman Charged with Drug Trafficking
Nichole Staples from Portland was charged with Unlawful Drug Trafficking and Violating Conditions of Release.
Arrested with Fentanyl in her Possession
The Portland Police Department said Staples was arrested on Sherwood Street around 1:45 pm. She was in possession of 88.4 grams of fentanyl and also had $2,164 in suspected drug proceeds.
Transported to Jail
Staples was taken to the Cumberland County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
