She was out of jail on a pre-conviction bail following her arrest on June 2, 2025 for Unlawful Drug Trafficking in Fentanyl.
MDEA Conducted Surveillance of Local Business for Drug Trafficking
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency had been doing surveillance at a local business and confirmed drug trafficking activity at the location.

The Ellsworth Police Department pulled Battis over Thursday and searched her vehicle.

Police seized 10ggw of fentanyl, 2ggw of methamphetamine, 1ggw of cocaine base, 0.8ggw of cocaine HCL and $2,872 of suspected drug proceeds.

Arrested Without Incident and Booked in County Jail without Bail
Battis was taken to the Hancock County Jail and booked without bail. The investigation is ongoing.
